Visit Petrozavodsk, the Kivach Nature Reserve and Kizhi in our 2 day tour from St. Petersburg. The tour includes round trip by "Lastochka" train, guided walks in Petrozavodsk, Kizhi, Kinerma Village and Kivach.
Itinerary
DAY 1
5.30 a.m. Transfer by car/minivan to the station
6.30 a.m. Train “Lastochka” from Saint Petersburg to Petrozavodsk. The way will take about 5 hours. Upon arrival you will be met by your private guide and driver.
Transfer to the Kinerma Village, which in 2016 became the most beautiful village in Russia.
Traditional Karelian lunch in the local house.
Transfer to the Kivach Nature Reserve.
Visit the waterfall Kivach, the nature museum and dendrarium.
Transfer to Petrozavodsk. Accommodation in hotel 4*.
DAY 2
Breakfast at hotel
9 a.m. City tour of Petrozavodsk.
10.15 Departure for Kizhi Island by hydrofoil.
Excursion in the Kizhi Open-Air Museum of Wooden Architecture.
Lunch at the island
3.45 p.m. Transfer to Petrozavodsk by hydrofoil.
Transfer to the station
6 p.m. Train “Lastochka” from Petrozavodsk to St.Petersburg
11 p.m. Transfer to the hotel in St. Petersburg
